Korg Prophecy Studio Driver v1.01
Dave Robinson 1998
Please note the following:

The Korg Prophecy Studio Module works only on the 2 internal banks (A and B)
and does not deal with the card slot. It is designed to work with the
Prophecy using Patch changes 0 to 127 and not bank numbers plus 0-63
(as is the default setting). I always found the bank select annoying
with Cubase so I set mine to use patch changes only. With this file
should be a PROPHGBL.PCY which will set the Prophecy to use only
patch changes. You could do this manually but it is tedious. The Global
file will also set the Prophecy to receive on Channel 1 and in Local off mode.
If you want to change these just enter the global setup mode on the
Prophecy and forward to GBL-8 screen where these can be altered.

// CAUTION // : make shure to save your Prophecy's Global Data before following the steps below !!! The internal memory of the Prophecy will be overwritten !

To send the PROPHGBL.PCY file to the Prophecy

1. Add the Prophecy.Dev file in Studio Module and set the correct output
and channels.
2. In Studio Module open the Patch Manager and select the Korg Prophecy.
3. Click the Data Dump button.
4. Go to File \ Open Bank
5. Select PROPHGBL.PCY
6. In the Data Types a Chevron will appear next to Global
7. Ensure your Prophecy is On and connected to the correct Midi ports as set in 1
7. Go to Midi \ Send
9. The dump (663 bytes) will be sent to the Prophecy
10. If all worked ok a Global Data Dump Received <Completed> message will appear on
the Prophecy screen and Cubase will not report any errors.
